SysCloud (www.syscloud.com) is a Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform providing the capability within a single pane of glass to backup mission critical SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks Online, HubSpot, Slack, and Salesforce. Our platform offers a comprehensive suite of solutions like backup, data recovery, ransomware protection, compliance alerts, and eDiscovery search.
SysCloud is in the midst of rapid expansion. To support our growth, we are looking to hire an experienced candidate for the position of – Manager, Go-To-Market (GTM) – Japan Market Focus.
Position: Manager, Go-To-Market (GTM) – Japan Market Focus
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Go-To-Market strategy, marketing, or business development, preferably with exposure to the Japanese market.
- Must have scored at least 99th percentile in CAT.
- Fluency in Japanese (both spoken and written) is required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems.
- Ability to interpret data and adapt strategies for maximum impact.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including international product and marketing teams.
- Knowledge of current digital marketing trends, particularly in the B2B space and Japanese market nuances.
- Experience in creating and executing successful marketing campaigns in international markets, specifically Japan, will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborating with SysCloud Japan Team:
- Work closely with the SysCloud Japan team to understand local market nuances and ensure alignment in go-to-market strategies.
- Provide input on region-specific content, product features, and campaign ideas to ensure relevance for Japanese customers.
2. Content Campaign Development:
- Develop and execute content marketing campaigns tailored to the Japanese market.
- Ensure that all marketing materials, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and ads, are localized and culturally relevant.
3. Influencer and Partnership Engagement:
- Identify local influencers and partners in Japan to distribute content and expand brand awareness.
- Establish relationships with key players in the Japanese market to enhance the company’s visibility and reach.
4. Webinars and Publisher Collaborations:
- Plan and execute webinars for the Japan market by collaborating with local publishers and platforms.
- Manage all aspects of webinar delivery, from speaker coordination to promoting the event to a Japanese audience.
5. Event Identification and Collateral Creation:
- Identify key events and conferences in Japan where the company should have a presence.
- Oversee the development of Japan-specific event collateral, including brochures, presentations, and booth setups.
6. Website Management for Japan Market:
- Update and manage Japan-focused content on the company’s website, ensuring it is optimized for SEO and lead generation in Japan.
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure a smooth, localized user experience.
7. Ad Campaigns for Japan Market:
- Plan and manage paid ad campaigns on platforms like Google and LinkedIn targeting Japanese professionals.
- Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize lead generation.
8. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of go-to-market activities specific to the Japanese market.
- Use data insights to refine strategies, improve engagement, and maximize return on investment.
